Educational Qualification for UPSC CDS II Examination 2018
I.M.A. and Officers Training Academy: Applicants hold any Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
Indian Naval Academy: Applicants hold Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
AFA: Candidates must be hold Graduate Degree of a recognized University (with Physics & Maths at Sr Secondary level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
- Candidates those are studying in the last year in Graduate Degree and have yet to passed the final year degree exam can also apply but the result have been declared up to the time of submission of application and they will be required to submit proof of passing the degree examination at the time of commencement of course.
Age Limit for UPSC CDS II Examination 2018:
For IMA- Indian Military Academy: Unmarried male applicants not born earlier than 2nd July 1995 and not later than 1st July 2000.
Indian Naval Academy: Unmarried male applicants not born earlier than 2 July 1995 and not later than 1 July 2000.
Air Force Academy: 20 to 24 years as on 1 July 2019 i.e. candidates born not earlier than 02 July 1995 and not later than 01 July 1999 (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA India is relax-able up to 26 years. i.e. born not earlier than 02.07.1993 and not later than 1st July, 1999).

Fee:
All Female Candidates and SC/ST Candidates: Nil
All other Candidates: Rs. 200/-
Fee can be done by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur / State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card. OR depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash.

- Maximum marks for written examination and to the interviews will be equal for each course i.e. the maximum marks for the written examination and to the interviews will be 300, 300, 300 and 200 each.
- The UPSC CDS II question papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questions only. Question papers of GK and Elementary Maths will be set bilingually in Hindi as well as English.
