During his college days, he was best friends with gangster Jitender Gogi, but tensions between Tillu and Gogi began to emerge during the college elections. They were both campaigning for separate candidates for the Vice-President position in the student elections. Later, Gogi joined forces with some gangsters, and Tillu began to form bonds with gangsters such as Neeraj Bawana, Naveen Bali, Sunil Rathi, and Cheenu. The conflict between the two gangs began on 21 January 2015, after the death of Tillu’s close member ‘Raju Chor’ by the Gogi gang. The gang conflict worsened day by day, leading to the murder of members of both factions.
Tillu and one of his associates, Vikas nicknamed Vicky, were arrested in 2016 for the murder of Niranjan from Rohtak’s Ghuskani hamlet. Previously, the local police had a Rs. 50,000 reward for anyone who could provide his information. The vengeance fire continued to burn, and in 2018, a gang war between the two groups broke out in Burari, Delhi, killing four people. Some innocent people were also killed in their gang war. Tillu Tajpuriya, one of Delhi’s most renowned gangsters, allegedly gave the order to carry out the Rohini Court shootout in 2021, which claimed the life of gangster Jitender Maan alias Gogi.
