Priyanka Mukherjee, Titas’ childhood coach, asked Bengal team bowling coach Shib Shankar Paul to instruct her. She went on trial for the West Bengal squad when she was 13 years old and was denied. Titas planned to offer trials the following year, but she opted to first focus on her 10th-grade board examinations, which she passed with flying colors. She was granted the option to join the Bengals as a bowler in 2020. She made her debut as the team’s youngest player at the age of 16. Her performance in the two matches she played as a member of the squad was poor, and she was dropped from the team. She developed her skills by participating in the Cricket Association of Bengal competitions.
She collected 7 wickets in 5 matches in the Women’s T20 competition in 2022, making her the leading wicket-taker. Her achievements earned her a spot on the Bengal senior squad. She participated in the Women’s U19 T20 Quadrangular Series as a member of the Bengal squad, which included India A, India B, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies, which helped her acquire experience for the World Cup.
