Yeti Airlines ATR-72 Plane Crash at Pokhara Nepal: A passenger ATR-72 plane crashed at Pokhara International Airport in Nepal on Sunday 15 January 2023 while flying from Kathmandu. As per the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, 68 people have been killed. Rescue operations are underway.
As per Nepal civil aviation authority, the weather was clear when the plane crashed. A total of 68 passengers and four crew members were on board the Yeti airlines aircraft that crashed between the old airport and the Pokhara International Airport. There were 5 Indians among 15 foreign passengers on board the Yeti Airlines flight ATR-72. As per the news, the plane crashed when it was attempting to landing at the Pokhara International Airport. And that the plane caught fire as it crashed on the runway. Images and videos posted on social media showed plumes of smoke coming out from the spot. After Yeti Airlines ATR-72 Plane Crash the rescue operation was undergone by forces.
